Our story is one of determination, family, and the pursuit of a dream. It begins in 2006, when our founder, Pedro, made the courageous decision to leave his home in Mexico for a new life in Canada. Driven by the hope of new opportunities and a better future for his family, he faced the unknown head-on.
After navigating the challenges of adapting to a new culture and country, Pedro returned to Mexico. But his journey wasn't over. In 2009, his unwavering spirit led him back to British Columbia, where he started a renovation and maintenance business in Whistler. The ultimate goal was to be reunited with his loved ones, and in 2013, he achieved that dream, moving his family—his wife, Leti, and their two children, PJ and Regina—to Canada.
Working together, Pedro and Leti overcame the barriers of building a new life and a business in a foreign land. Their shared experiences and expertise, gained on both sides of the border, inspired them to embark on a new chapter. With a pioneering spirit, they moved to the Okanagan to start Canamex Siding Ltd in 2021.
Today, we are proud to call West Kelowna our home. Our company continues to grow, fueled by a passion for construction and a commitment to quality. As we reflect on our journey, we are more than just a family business—we are a living legacy. We are inspired to help others find a better life in Canada, and we are proud to employ others who share our vision.
