This project took us to a home in West Kelowna that had been standing strong for more than 25 years. The house was originally finished with pine wood siding, which had reached the end of its life and was no longer protecting the home the way it should. The homeowners contacted us, from a referral, to remove and replace the siding of their extension of the house with something modern, durable, and long-lasting.
Once our crew began removing the old pine siding, we quickly discovered that the job came with more challenges than expected. Much of the original framing was in poor condition, and in several areas the home had little to no insulation. At this point, the homeowners asked if our team could take on the extra work and ensure everything was corrected before new siding went up. Because our team specializes not only in siding but also has a comprehensive background in construction applications of all kinds, we were able to address the issues thoroughly. WE saved the client time and extra money, by him not having to source other companies to fix the framing , etc. We repaired and reinforced the framing, installed proper insulation where it was missing, This gave the homeowners peace of mind that their home would be structurally sound and energy-efficient for years to come.
